Common Syllabus for Class XI and XII in HSC, ICSE and CBSE
From the 2011 academic session, students of Classes XI and XII across the country will study a uniform science and math curriculum. Currently, course content of these critical subjects varies with the state school board an institution is affiliated to.This means all junior colleges will teach the same topics and subjects and entrance examinations for various professional and degree courses will be based on the new syllabus.
“This (common syllabus for maths and science) has been accepted by all the state boards. This core curriculum will be taught in all schools. This will help students compete on an equal footing at the national-level entrance tests for the IITs and for medical colleges”
said Sibal.
Good initiative.But leave IITs and NITs on their own ways.

i would like to have modal question pares of economics of 12 standard cbse of last five years.
tell me some of changes which are made in marking pattern of 11 and 12 cbse.
Can I plz have the 2010 Board paper for Economics (CBSE) – Delhi, All India and Foreign Schools.
I am interested to know from which board to study 11th and 12th.I welcome this change.

plz let me know various subjects available for class XI(both compulsory and optional).Also can we opt for Mathematics,Physics and Chemistry(PCM) as compulsory subjects and Economics as an optional one?
